A freshly deceased couple finds that it is stuck as a spirit in his house - and of all people, the new residents threaten to ruin their peaceful ghost existence thoroughly. In desperation, they contact the chaotic, idiosyncratic and completely unpredictable spirit Beetlejuice.

But the apparently perfect solution quickly turns into a wonderfully absurd chaos. Between bizarre worlds and bizarre encounters, a funny, dark and at the same time original story about life after death and the narrow line between humor and horror.

After an unexpected family loss, three generations of the Deetz family return to their home in Winter River. Lydia, the former teenager with a preference for the macabre, is now a mother and is once again faced with the unpredictable spirit Beetlejuice, who turns her life upside down.

When her rebellious daughter Astrid discovers the city's mysterious model in the attic and accidentally opens a portal to the hereafter, a turbulent adventure full of bizarre encounters and supernatural challenges begins.
