In a world that was devoured by a huge flood, a young cat is struggling for survival. She finds refuge on a small boat lonely and lost - but soon she will no longer be alone. Together with a loyal golden retriever, a curious lemurs, a cautious secretary bird and a cozy capybara, she goes on a moving journey over endless water landscapes.

Each of the unusual companions carries their own history, their own fears and hopes. Without words, but with a lot of heart and empathy, they explore the power of friendship, the courage in moments of deepest hopelessness and the beauty to continue despite everything.
